Israel will not allow journalists in to cover the assault on Gaza?

Doesn't this seem disingenuous to you? Journalists have always been on the battlefields and imbedded with troops to bring the story to the world. Why would this be any different unless Israel has something to hide?

1. There are 8 journalist that have been let it to cover the story.

4. Maybe it's the fact that these journalists will be used by Hamas has human shields the same way they use their children? Nevertheless, 8 journalists were allowed into Gaza.

6. I wouldn't allow them either. The journalists betrayed us in Desert Storm and continue to betray us in Iraq. They don't need these people broadcasting every thing they do. It can endanger Israel. I wonder if you are not a journalist trying to gain sympathy.

9. I remember the 7 o'clock was mainly spent "watching the war" in Viet Nam. Then the protests, then the FBI implanted Agent Provocateurs, then the National Guard, BUT, then the war ended. Apparently, neither the US or anyone in the Middle East wants anything to end. How many people would have gone to fight WWll, if the press reported that Prescott Bush, of Texas oil fame, was selling armor plate and steel to Hitler and prolonging the war. If GranDad had gotten his a$$ arrested for treason, a lot of GranDads would have lived, No body likes the press except the people, and who cares about them.
10. I heard Rupert handpicked the journalists who were allowed into Gaza. Seems pretty sneaky and underhanded to me.
11. Israel has a moral responsability to protect the lives of journalists, which is not easy to do in a war zone in an area of the world known for assasinations of journalists.

13. Just because someone is a journalist does not mean that they are biased. If someone covers the Israelis attacking missile operatives, have they also reported accurately about the missiles that have been hitting Israel? Also, journalists may broadcast about something that the army is trying to do and thwart the army's goals.
