How can I submit a press release to newspapers?

I wrote a press release for an upcoming service that our company will be offering and have submitted it to online press release websites. Does anyone know how I can get it published in print editions? I am not talking about the Wall Street Journal or anything like it. My question concerns regional newspapers. Thanks!

1. I would contact the newspapers within your region and see what the process is Normally, you would fax or e-mail the press release to the newspapers.
2. Hi, Hows it going. Sorry i havnt gotten back to you this week from your last email. I am about to reply to it right now. And for the press release info, just google "How to submit a press release" and you will get tons of info. Plus i would contact your local newspapers and get the word straight from them.
